Please consider donating blood this Easter.
The Easter Blood Drive, a city-wide interdenominational Christian effort to mobilize Christians in Ottawa to donate blood or plasma, is now in its third year. The need to donate remains ongoing: while 1 in 2 Canadians are eligible to donate, only 1 in 81 does. Christians are a giving and grateful people – and donating is another impactful way to live out these qualities.
In 2024, the Drive achieved its goal of 300 members with a total of 352 donations. The 2025 goal is to increase membership to 400 and donations of blood or plasma to 500 units. Visit Easterblooddrive.ca to learn more. Canadian Blood Services has reserved spots for Easter Blood Drive donors on March 29th, 31st and April 1st through 5th as special EBD days and to provide the opportunity for fellowship and some fun. If you have any questions or need assistance to register, Owen Mahaffy (the Presbytery Rep from St. Stephen's) can be reached at owenmahaffy@gmail.com.
