Men's Fellowship

Open to all men of St. Andrew’s, the Men’s Fellowship provides an opportunity to get to know and support each other better as friends in Christ. We also welcome men from outside the Church.

The group normally meets in St. Andrew's Hall, the Church basement, at 6:00 pm on the last Monday of each month from September to November, and January to May. Meetings normally include a simple meal (suggested donation: $10), a short devotional, and a guest speaker. Occasionally, we have discussion evenings around some topic of general interest rather than a speaker.

Members of the Men's Fellowship respond to service requests related to a variety of Church activities and special events during the year. We also make modest donations to worthy causes from any funds we are able to raise.

New members are always welcome. For more information, or to be placed on the Men's Fellowship email list, please contact Stephen Campbell, Convenor of Men's Fellowship, at (mensfellowship@standrewsottawa.ca).

Upcoming Men’s Fellowship Meeting Dates

Our upcoming Men's Fellowship on November 25th,  is set to be a full and eventful evening.  As per usual, it begins with our dinner at 6:00 PM , (suggested free-will donation of $10.00), followed by a devotional and guest speaker.   On the latter point, we're delighted to welcome Hilary Paulin as our speaker; who will be addressing the topic of Canada's Greenhouse Emissions, Past, Present and Future.  Hilary brings excellent expertise to the subject, and has an impressive CV of experience in the field.  Climate change and its impact, is without a doubt one of the leading issues or our time.  Many thanks to Arch Ritter for securing a speaker of Hilary's caliber, and for providing the attached info piece on Hilary's topic and background.

I am also pleased to note Andrew Johnston has agreed to provide this month's devotional, so it promises to be full and interesting evening of fellowship.

If you plan to attend, can you kindly send an email directly to Bob Bowes at "bowes125@hotmail.com" to let him know numbers for the dinner.  Many Thanks.
